Season 2.3 - Abyssal Scavenge Run
Greetings, Driftmasters, and a very Merry Christmas to you all! Having you fight alongside us on this battlefield is the best Christmas gift we could have asked for this year! After announcing the upcoming Abyssal Scavenge Run update, we received a great deal of questions and suggestions from our Driftmasters. In this developer log, we will address them collectively and provide the full announcement for the S2.3 version update.

Features
Abyssal Scavenge Run
Overview
- In the Abyss, there are no large-scale alliances—only independent scavenging squads. Everyone shares one ultimate objective: to collect as much treasure and loot as possible.
- Every player can freely choose their scavenging strategy, leading to vastly different gameplay experiences:
- You can equip expensive, high-tier gear to dominate key areas, clear other squads, and claim their loot as your own.
- You can also bring low-cost, low-tier gear to carefully scavenge along the map's edges, avoiding all possible combat.
- Or perhaps, through clever strategies and tactical designs, you can use low-tier gear to outplay stronger opponents and hit the jackpot in a single run!
Delving Deeper
- The Abyss is divided into three layers. You can access deeper layers through downward portals or choose to deploy directly into them from the start.
- The containers in deeper layers offer much richer rewards.
Energie-Zelle
- Submit Energie-Zelle to receive random Abyssal Collections (this functions similarly to the Energy Orb mechanic on the surface).
Supply Crate
- High-value rewards will be dropped periodically at various locations on the map during a match. Be on the lookout for them!
High-Value Point
- The third layer of the Abyss contains a High-Value Point with no direct entry path. It can only be accessed via three internal portals within the match.
- This zone holds precious treasures. Fight for control of the portals to hunt for the most valuable loot!
Extraction Point
- Each layer of the map has Extraction Points that allow you to bring out all your equipped gear and the items in your backpack.
- An Extraction Point must be activated through interaction. After a 2-minute activation period, it will extract all players within its range.
New Warband Positions
- New Warband Positions: Assaulter and Combatant
Repair Station Enhancement
- New Repair Station function: restore Drifter Endurance
Safe Inventory
- New Driftmark Technology: Safe Inventory. Items stored in the Safe Inventory will not drop upon death.
Storage Expansion
- New Driftmark Technology: Storage Expansion, unlocks more Storage tabs
- New Driftmark Technology: Storage Tab, unlocks additional storage pages
Display Cabinet
- New Driftmark facility: [Display Cabinet], where you can view and submit collectibles and claim collection rewards.
Inventory Technology
- New Driftmark Technology: more levels of Inventory Technology
Psyche System
- New Psyche System: Used to power [Psyche Relics] and [Psyche Armor]. The Psyche Cap can be increased at the Soul Monument in the Underground Bazaar.
Psyche Relic
- New Consumable [Psyche Relic]: requires Psyche to use (can be produced at the Supply Depot)
Psyche Armor
- New Defense Equipment [Psyche Armor]: Once equipped and energized, it can consume Psyche Energy to absorb a large amount of Damage (Can be produced at the Fabricator)
Tournament Titles and Rewards
- New Titles, Occupation Point Rewards in [Tournament] Mode
Hypercharge Collector Experience
- Added Hypercharge-related Collector Experience gain: When an item is upgraded to Gold quality, it grants 3 Collector Experience
Basic Attack Auto-Target Setting

Dark Domain
Creates a Dark Domain over the target, lasting 6 seconds, enveloping up to 5 nearby enemies in darkness. Enemies within take 254[Damage Rate: 100%] Magic Damage every second, and have their Vision reduced, Damage Boost reduced by 30%, Max HP reduced by 30%, and Healing Received reduced by 30%. When the user is inside their own Dark Domain, they are considered to be in Night Status.

Equipment Acquisition Adjustment
- Adjust the acquisition method for T8 and above equipment:
- The Trading House only sells up to T7 Equipment.
- You can upgrade T7 Equipment to a higher Tier at the Driftmark's [Fabricator]
Rift Shop Adjustment
- Adjusted Starfall Token rewards in the Rift Shop: 10 purchases available weekly (purchase limit accumulates weekly).

Combat
Equipment Power and Mastery Power Adjustment
- Massively increase the Basic Power of all T-tier equipment
- The Mastery Power Bonus rules have been adjusted: The bonus per level was changed from +2 to +1.
Skill Mechanics Adjustment
- All weapons' single-target Basic Attacks and Common Skills are defined as Basic Attacks and Basic Skills.
- Now, other healing sources, besides Bloom Staves and Radiant Fluxes Weapons, will also trigger the Overhealing Buff.
Combat Issue Repair
- The Overhealing Buff rules have been adjusted, and the effect now scales with the player's Max HP percentage.
- Fixed the issue where [Freshness] and [Holy Baptism] Skills would infinitely resist Control.
- Fixed an issue where multiple instances of damage from the same skill would trigger the Shield-Breaking Hood multiple times.
- The overhealing mechanism was adjusted: the overhealing effect is now an innate character BUFF.
- Fixed an issue where [Starfall Vanguard]'s "Overhealing Buff" skill was not triggering.
Systems
War Time Adjustment
- War Time frequency has been adjusted: It will be available daily on the 2nd and 3rd day after server launch, then every other day. The specific times and number of occurrences will be determined by voting.
Open World Activity Adjustment
- The [Rise to Power] event in the Launch Events was canceled.
- Canceled the [Scrap-post Bonus] and [Harvester Vault Bonus] events in daily event gameplay
Season Merit Acquisition Method Adjustment
- The total merit obtainable from Total Faction Contribution has been increased from 300 to 800.
- The total amount of merit obtainable from Total PvP Contribution has been increased from 300 to 400.
- Remove the method of earning Season Merit by accumulating Myconid Cores.
Downed/Death Rules Adjustment
- When killed by summons and vehicles, they will no longer be downed, but will die instead.
- In Abyssal Treasure Hunt, being killed by a monster results in immediate death.
- When selecting a template for revival after death, the selection time is adjusted to 60s, and the revival channeling time is adjusted to 60s. After revival, a 15s Invulnerable, Silence, Acceleration BUFF is granted.
Loadout Template Rule Adjustments
- When outside a Safe Zone, you cannot switch to equipment that is not part of your current loadout. In a Safe Zone, you can make any adjustments.
Drop Rules Adjustment
- Surface and Underground Worlds: On death, no Equipment or Inventory items are dropped, and only Durability is lost.
- Abyssal Treasure Hunt: On death, drop 1 piece of equipment, other equipment loses durability, and all inventory items are lost (excluding the safe box).
Faction Contribution Rules Adjustment
- Daily Legion Rank has been adjusted to Daily Contribution Rank.
- New Abyssal Treasure Hunt quests have been added to Daily Faction Missions.
- When earning PvP Contribution, Faction Contribution is 40% of the original.
- Submitting Guild Resources earns Faction Contribution at 40% of the original amount.
Faction Switch Adjustment
- The [Faction switch] function is unavailable during the season, but faction change items can still be used.
Other Adjustments & Optimizations
- Fixed some UI Display anomalies.
- Fixed some abnormal sound effect issues.
- Fixed an issue where picking up certain drops in the Underworld would occasionally cause two loot screens to conflict.
- Fixed Shadowseer's ultimate ability playing incorrect animations during channeling.
- Fixed the tiger mount's distorted riding animation after being attacked.
- Fixed an issue where dismounting while the mount was moving and then remounting would cause the mount to play movement animations.
- Heartbeat Detector adjusted to Purple quality, materials required for production increased.
- Adjusted the display position of the Shield when using the [Judgment Core] appearance.
- Fixed an issue where, in some cases, [Swarm Weaver]'s Bursting Eggs would not fade out after switching Drifters.
- Fixed an issue where the exclusive skill's CD would not reset after switching Drifters.
- Fixed an issue where the Power display in the Support Station was incorrect in some cases.
- Optimized Prism Cloak bullet effect
- Fixed an issue where the displayed relocation route did not match the actual route.
- Fixed an issue where the Stronghold was incorrectly identified as a map when firing the Railgun.
- Fixed an issue where the Scrap-post BOSS would revert to its initial state if all players disengaged from combat while it was casting a Summon Skill.
- Fixed an issue where other nearby Warband members were unable to receive rewards when submitting Exergy using a Heavy Exergy IronHaul.
- Fixed an issue where other players' guilds were visible in Veinhold Extraction.
- Adjusted the loot pickup method: from auto-pickup to manual pickup
- Removed territory restrictions on deploying Driftmarks and placing personal buildings.
- Reduced the Gather Technology level required for all myconid resources.
- Adjusted the global cooldown for switching equipment, items, and skills: 10s → 1.5s
- Fixed an issue where the team list was not displayed after switching devices, even though team chat was available.
- Fixed an issue where bushes purchased from the underground shop, when placed on a Verge Zone "Giant Fire-Eater Trap", would have their models hidden and not fade out, preventing all players from viewing them;
- Fixed the display anomaly of World Map connection routes.
- Fixed an issue where invisible walls at some mining spots on the map made them impassable.
- Fixed an issue where characters could sometimes abnormally Teleport to the center of the next Map when moving past the edge of a Map.
- Mail attachment claiming rules have been adjusted: you must now be in a Safe Zone to claim mail attachments.
- Fixed the shop's weekly refresh time
- The season inheritance mechanism has been optimized: After season inheritance, characters can unlock their corresponding Legion Ranks without needing to log in again.
